Chester County Hospital's Emergency Department (ED) provides care to patients twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. Our ED consists of 43 private exam rooms, as well as a "vertical flow" treatment area designed to accommodate patients in need of minor and uncomplicated intermediate levels of care.
ED RN Summary:
- Provides comprehensive, quality nursing care through application of the nursing process. Adheres to Nursing Policies and Procedures and Organizational Goals and Objectives.
Shift:
Sat/Sun Weekend Program 3 out of 4, 7:00am-7:30pm
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Nursing (Required)
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN). Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Certification in clinical specialty preferred.
Licensure/Certification
Current Pennsylvania RN License.
CPR certification required.
ACLS, PALS certification required, or must complete within 12 months of hire.
Certification of CEN or CPEN preferred.
