Responsibilities The Member Service Coordinator interacts with a variety of individuals via telephone, electronic media and in person. This is a high volume fast paced service environment. Responsible for responding to customer inquiries, managing member records, actively promoting DAHLC and Mayo Clinic Healthy Living services, scheduling appointments, patient registration, customer check-in/check-out, payment transactions, desk functions, and supporting pre/during/post customer needs. Actively serves as a direct contact or resource to customers. Support the DAHLC multi-line telephone operation and service desks. Knowledgeable of services and programs offered at the Healthy Living Center (HLC) and promoting Healthy Living philosophy. Creates Mayo Clinic Access cards (MCIAC) for eligible non- Mayo customers of the HLC. Responsible for maintaining building safety and security, solving problems and responding to immediate operational issues as they arise. Identifies and analyzes problems and recommends changes to improve work unit effectiveness. Responds to all emergencies within the center with an AED device and applies proper water safety response protocol for pool emergencies. Exercise sound judgment, during stressful situations and takes appropriate action.
Qualifications High school diploma and four years customer service experience or an Associate’s Degree. BLS skills; computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; effective in a team environment, organized, self-motivated, and possess excellent time management skills.Basic Life Saving (BLS)- must be successfully obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
