The Vickie and Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience at Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a Junior Stroke Neurology Physician to join our expanding stroke team at our Walnut Street campus. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent fellowship graduate or early-career vascular neurologist to contribute to a nationally recognized academic health system with a commitment to clinical excellence, research, and education.
Job Description
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care for stroke and cerebrovascular patients
- Participate in acute stroke call coverage (telestroke and in-house)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurocritical care, neurosurgery, and rehabilitation
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical trials
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency
- Vascular Neurology fellowship (completed or in final year)
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology and Vascular Neurology
- Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
- Strong commitment to academic medicine and teaching

- Faculty appointment at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University
- Academic rank commensurate with experience and qualifications (Instructor or Assistant Professor)
