Position Summary
The successful candidate will be a member of a collaborative, highly interdisciplinary science team that includes imaging scientists and clinicians with research focus on Parkinson’s disease. The successful candidate will perform innovative data analyses with neuroimaging and related data with emphasis on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). A major responsibility will relate to software development, documentation, and implementation.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain computer algorithms for analyzing structural and functional MRI data for neuroimaging-related neuroscience research purposes, including documentation.
- Assist with design and ongoing development of custom software necessary to implement computer algorithms.
- Evaluate and resolve software problems in collaboration with additional faculty and staff for both existing and development of analysis streams for processing and analyzing neuroimaging data.
- Develop and apply advanced statistical and analytical approaches to neuroimaging and related data using software programming tools (e.g., Linux, MATLAB, R routines) for the purpose of analyzing neuroimaging data.
- Process existing neuroimaging data and perform robust quality assurance.
- Maintain neuroimaging data, documentation, and neuroimaging database.

Candidate will be responsible for MRI data collected to address key research aims in the lab:
- Identify MRI prognostic biomarkers to determine dementia onset in Parkinson disease;
- Determine MRI biomarkers of Parkinson disease subtypes;
- Characterize individual-level fMRI markers of Parkinson disease using advanced precision-mapping techniques.

$53,100.00 - $90,600.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
