Stroke Unit is located at Moss-Magee Rehabilitation in Center City Philadelphia, PA.
Schedule Commitment:
- PT FT Must be able to Must be able to work two (2) twelve (12) hour shifts on a weekly basis Must be able to work every third(3rd) weekend Holiday commitment consists of 1 holiday per season
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reporting to the Nurse Manager
- Patient Care Techs will provide direct bedside care to patients:
- Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of the patient
- Maintains appropriate documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets Assists physicians with examinations and tests as needed
- Other tasks include respiratory services, and rehabilitation services
QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify as Patient Care Tech, you must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- One of the following is required: PCT or related certification,
- Certified Nursing Assistant - Preferred
- Minimum of 1 year nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience required.
- AHA BLS required
- Every 3rd Weekend Requirements
- Holiday rotation
