Position Description
Penn Family Medicine Valley Forge is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their team in caring for pediatric and adult patients in the ambulatory setting. The group consists of 8 providers - 6 physicians and 2 APPs.
The practice is housed within the 90,000 square-foot Penn Medicine Valley Forge facility located in Berwyn, PA, about 45 minutes west of Philadelphia. The facility offers onsite imaging/radiology, pharmacy, and lab services, in addition to the following Penn specialty services: Cardiology, Endocrinology, Infusion Services, Neurology, Ob/Gyn, Orthopedics, Pain Medicine, Pulmonary, Rheumatology, and Sports Medicine. Penn Medicine Valley Forge is also home to the Abramson Cancer Center at Valley Forge, which brings the expertise and prominence of one of the nation's leading cancer centers to Chester County.
The practice utilizes the Epic EMR, which is universal throughout Penn Medicine.
Minimum Requirements
Nurse Practitioner candidates must be licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and possess a MSN or DNP and certification as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner.
Physician Assistant candidates must be licensed to practice as a physician assistant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and possess a master's and certification as a physician assistant.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of primary care APP experience.
