Role Overview:
Under supervision of the group leader, will provide support to research projects at the Center by designing, developing, and implementing software tools for processing and analyzing high-throughput next-generation sequencing data. In addition, will provide one-on-one consultation and training to research scientists and bioinformatics and software engineers at the Center in the use of bioinformatics software tools and databases.

Analysis of High-Throughput Biomedical data

Process and analyze data from high-throughput next-generation sequencing
Design of Software Tools and Systems
Time: 40%
●Design, develop, and operate software and databases as part of bioinformatics data processing and analysis system
●Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
Scientific Expertise, Consultation, and Training
Time: 10%
●Provide consultation and guidance to research scientists, as well as other bioinformatics and software engineers, at the Center
●Train researchers in the use of computational and bioinformatics tools and develop training modules
