We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Application Analyst to support our Epic Cadence and Welcome modules. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in registration, scheduling, and reporting, with a solid understanding of healthcare workflows and a commitment to delivering high-quality support to end users.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure new applications, components, and upgrades.
- Define go-live and rollout support schedules; assist with field coordination and provide on-site support as needed.
- Support users on new applications, modules, and functionality.
- Analyze and coordinate necessary application modifications with internal teams or vendors.
- Evaluate how new systems, upgrades, or components can best meet user needs.
- Interpret end-user requirements and guide them toward optimal solutions.
- Assess and refine operational workflows within the system.
- Create system specifications based on user requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans for new systems, upgrades, and modifications.
- Document testing outcomes and ensure system readiness.
- Provide ongoing application troubleshooting and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Epic certification in Cadence and Prelude is required (Welcome certification preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in application builds, go-lives, workflow design, troubleshooting, testing, and support.
- Strong reporting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working directly with end users.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of healthcare workflows.
- Meeting all requirements for Epic certification is a condition of employment.
Preferred:
- Experience with Epic reporting for Cadence and Prelude.
- Knowledge of Welcome workflows (front and back end).
- Familiarity with Patient Self-Service tools (e.g., Hello World, Open/Direct Scheduling).
- Experience with Decision Trees.
- Experience configuring outpatient and hospital outpatient departments (HOD).
- Epic certification in Welcome.
