Overview
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking full-time and per diem OB/GYN Hospitalist Physicians with solid clinical and academic experience to join the faculty of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Medical Staff of Montefiore Medical Center. Our objective is to recruit clinically sound, mission-driven, and compassionate Physician/ Educators dedicated to the provision of OB/GYN care to the local community in Bronx County, New York City.
COMPENSATION: In addition to a competitive salary of $307.2K-$380k, Montefiore offers a full suite of benefits, including health, dental, vision, LTD/STD, paid malpractice, and a 403(b)-retirement plan.
THE DEPARTMENT: Montefiore’s Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women’s Health is one of the largest and most respected in the country. Responsibilities
Candidates must be capable of working with residents, medical students, fellows, and advanced practice providers (Midwives) in labor & delivery, the operating rooms and inpatient units. The Candidates must demonstrate the ability to provide antenatal care. Intrapartum management to deliveries, urgent ED & in-patient GYN care, and patient education in a fast-paced, high acuity, patient centered environment. Candidates must be committed to social justice and providing equitable care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
- Medical Degree
- Board Eligible of Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligible to obtain a New York Medical License & DEA License
THE OPPORTUNITY:
- Full-time OR Per Diem opportunities
- General OB/GYN hospital day & night coverage (12 or 24h shifts)
- Work in a large, thriving department with support from nine academic divisions including: Family Planning, Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, Fetal Medicine & Ultrasound, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, Reproductive and Medical Genetics.
