Primary Responsibilities:
- You will use a systematic approach to assess educational needs in collaboration with all levels of nursing and medical staff and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of educational programs.
- You will independently coordinate programs, projects and events with Nursing, Medical Center departments and community.
- You will facilitate orientation and training for Nursing and Health System staff.
- You will collaborate throughout the Cedars-Sinai Health System (CSHS) in initiating and implementing educational programs/projects.
- You will market educational programs to the health system and the external community.
- You will design educational programs based on inter and intradepartmental research and clinical research findings.
- You will actively participate in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s Performance Improvement Program.
- Participates in house wide committee work in areas of responsibility.

Educational Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- BSN required; MSN preferred.
License/Certification Requirements:
- Valid California Registered Nurse license.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Life Support certifications.
- National or ANCC Specialty certification required.
- Nursing Professional Development certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years recent acute RN experience in specialty
- Meets specialty specific clinical competencies for assigned area
