What will you be doing in this role:
The Senior Epic Beaker Analyst provides operational and laboratory information system (LIS)/application support, build, and maintenance, particularly for Epic Beaker, Epic orders, and Data Innovations Instrument Manager middleware. Also supports integration to Epic Beaker with ancillary applications such as point of care (POC) and blood gas systems. Completes' assignments to meet customer goals and desired outcomes. Provides analysis for requests and completes assignments/projects independently under the direction of senior analysts and the Team Lead.
- Participates in the support, maintenance, build, testing, and upgrades of Epic Beaker, Data Innovations middleware, and interfaces.
- Possesses operational knowledge of the clinical laboratories.
- Participates in optimization of laboratory operational workflow processes with end-users/business owners.
- Performs analysis, build, testing, validation, documentation, and implementation of assignments/projects.
- Translate requirements/concepts into system specifications and configuration requirements.
- Interacts with operational end-users, EIS, system, and support vendors as needed.
- Ensures the research and documentation of project requirements, test plans, testing, and validation is completed.
- Provides training to team members as needed based on testing/troubleshooting documentation as well as updates knowledge base articles and policies/procedures.
- Provides on-call support during off hours.

Experience Requirements:
Four (4) plus years of experience working with testing/building/implementing Epic Beaker workflows.
Data Innovations Instrument Manager build/support, implementation of lab applications, and lab-specific upgrade activities strongly preferred.
Clinical laboratory operations workflow, Clinical Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, Point of Care, and Blood Gas knowledge/experience strongly preferred.
Ability to balance multiple projects.
Solves problems effectively and provides recommendations.
Educational/Certification Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field. (preferred)
Epic Beaker Certification required. (AP and/or CP preferred)
