Overview
Montefiore Einstein Health System (MHS), comprised of more than 12 hospitals and a multitude of outpatient facilities, is a leading force in healthcare delivery throughout the Bronx and the Hudson Valley.
We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and growth-minded FELLOWSHIP TRAINED TRAUMA ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEON to join our large faculty practice to help expand the reach of our trauma service to additional sites within the system.
Responsibilities
The trauma division embraces a team approach and currently has three members, busy with a high volume of operative upper and lower extremity fractures, periarticular injuries, and geriatric trauma and fragility fractures. There is a growing pelvic and acetabular fracture program, and a uniquely busy nonunion and limb deformity program. Call is shared broadly and averages to one day weekly.
This is an academic position with affiliation with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The applicant is expected add to our educational mission teaching medical students and Orthopaedic residents, and contribute meaningfully to our research program.
The department is within a supportive practice environment with significant potential for academic growth and advancement.
Requirements
In addition to a competitive salary of $300,000-800,000, we offer the opportunity to supplemental income with productivity incentives and additional call. Comprehensive benefits package including LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) are also offered.
