JeffTemps, Jefferson's in-house temporary service, is seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to support the Dental Clinic in Abington. Dental Surgical Assistant to members of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the resident staff. Provide chairside surgical support to the oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures and the facial pain physicians. Performs a wide variety of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures with competency.
Job Description
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
Provide surgical support to the oral and maxillofacial surgeon chairside for surgery procedures as well as facial pain physicians.
Follow clinical policies/ procedures and workflows to ensure compliance with the Joint Commission, OSHA, ADA, as well as TJUH Safety, Infection Control and Quality Assurance
