Summary:

Organizes, develops and maintains ongoing programs aimed toward enhancing the organization’s culture; maintains the Music in the Lobby Program; schedules Therapy Dog visits and maintains their vet and certification records; recruits and schedules gift shop volunteers monthly to assist with the gift shop’s overall functioning; provides administrative support for booking public spaces, and vendor events within the hospital; provides assistance to the Volunteer Services Administrator in all areas of recruitment, placement recordkeeping and orienting of volunteers. Salary range for this position is $36,805 - $47,295 annually which includes a comprehensive benefit package.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

1. Associate’s degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in the provision of community outreach, volunteer or community education programs; or
2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in the provision of community outreach, volunteer or community education programs.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate will bring experience in the performing arts, volunteer recruitment, and engagement. Proficiency in database systems and Microsoft Office tools is essential. Strong communication skills are highly valued, and prior experience in a healthcare setting (minimum of six months) is a plus. Candidates with a background in project coordination and event planning are preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated ability in calendar and schedule management are required for success in this role.
