The post-doctoral researcher will assess various MIA exposures including the maternal immune index, individual cytokines, CRP, prenatal infection, the polygenic risk score, and their association with child behavioral outcomes. Importantly, these exposures will be assessed in the context of other risk factors, such as child genetic risk, pre-pregnancy BMI and pregnancy complications.
ResponsibilitiesThe post-doctoral researcher is part of the Womens Mental health center and project coordinator of R01MH124776: The impact of prenatal maternal infection and inflammation on human brain development and psychopathology during adolescence.
The post-doctoral researcher will conduct advanced statistical analyses using data from pregnancy cohorts, including multi-level modeling, regression analyses, and longitudinal data techniques to assess the relationship between MIA-related exposures and child neurodevelopmental outcomes.
The post-doctoral researcher will replicate data in MSSM Generation C and Generation CSF cohorts in collaboration with Perez and Rommel labs. She will assist with IRB applications and modifications.
The post-doctoral researcher will collaborate with Akbarian Lab to investigate epigenetic changes during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
