The Patient Intake Representative is responsible for providing a wide variety of activities including but not limited to: initiating patient intakes; scheduling appointments; performing insurance screening and verification/authorization processes; patient registration; handling a high volume of customer calls/inquiries; entering patient charges; responding to medical records requests and billing inquiries; preparing reports; maintenance of department records.
We are looking for a Patient Intake Representative with excellent customer service skills for our Health and Wellness Center. The Rehab will ultimately have 5-6 clinicians and 1-2 associates and 1-2 secretaries.
This is full time 40 hours a week but hours are flexible and can vary between Hours - Monday - Friday 8AM-7PM
Main responsibilities in this role: greeting patients and checking them in, registration and scheduling
**Experience in registration and scheduling in Epic is a plus, but not required.
**Must have strong computer skills
