ResponsibilitiesSeeking a Spa Professional with Advance Practice Esthetician licensure. Must possess a thorough knowledge of aesthetic theory. Demonstrates excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills. Proven ability to master product and service knowledge, and willingness to train on Mayo Clinic’s specific service offerings and protocols. Must be friendly, enthusiastic and possess excellent communication skills to provide beauty solutions and deliver superb customer service to patients and guests from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrates spa industry knowledge, remains up to date on the latest nail, esthetic, and cosmetics trends and is skilled in sales and retail tactics specific to the spa industry. Comfortable meeting sales goals for services and retail products. May assist with desk functions, operational support or work on special projects as delegated by management.
QualificationsHigh school diploma is required. Certification from a state approved school of Cosmetology. Two years’ experience performing services as a Advanced Practice Esthetician. Post-secondary education is preferred. Must be adaptive to a changing work environment, as well as an evolving product and service line-up. Must be flexible, demonstrate good organizational skills and possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Artistic and design skills are required. Patience, sensitivity, and confidentiality are essential. Must be able to operate equipment specific to the assigned work unit, telephone system, copier cash register, credit card system, and have basic technology skills to allow efficient navigation of scheduling systems. Advanced Practice Esthetic license from the Minnesota Board of Cosmetologist Examiners (BCE).
