Jefferson Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced physician currently practicing within the LVHN Urgent Care network who is interested in transitioning to a full-time Primary Care role at our Jefferson Alumni Hall location. This opportunity offers a dynamic and collaborative academic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Job Description
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse adult patient population
- Manage chronic and acute conditions with an emphasis on preventive health
- Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including specialists, nursing, and administrative staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system
- Participate in educational and teaching opportunities as appropriate
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current or eligible medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Proven experience in urgent care or primary care settings preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
