ResponsibilitiesThe Lead Registered Nurse is a licensed qualified individual, with substantial specialized knowledge, judgment and nursing skills. Trained to perform patient care activities or procedures, administer medications and treatments, as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed physician. The Lead RN is also responsible for the supervision and training of other personnel in the performance of nursing activities. In addition, the Lead RN has the responsibility to liaison with the physician chair and administration to perform operational activities.
This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification
QualificationsGraduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
Two years experience in Nursing or related clinical specialty preferred.
One year of Nursing leadership/management preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
Must demonstrate proficiency in utilizing the nursing process as outlined in departmental competencies.
Must demonstrate knowledge of basic computer skills.
To include training in: Powerchart, Internet Explorer, MMIS, JeTech timekeeping, and Microsoft word.
Leadership/management skills required.
Verbal and Written Communication skills required.
Physical requirements as outlined by the Employee Health Physical Assessment Form.
Must be able to flex hours to meet the demands of the clinical area or take call, if required by the department.
License or Certifications:
Florida RN License.
BLS required.
ACLS required in specified areas.
