ResponsibilitiesProvides pharmaceutical care in coordination with other health care professionals to deliver safe, appropriate and cost effective drug therapy to patients.
QualificationsMinimum education required is a B.S. in pharmacy with 2 years work experience or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. An advanced degree (MS, PharmD) or residency is preferred. Experience in inpatient, or outpatient pharmacy practice is preferred. Board Certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties is preferred. Previous experience in applicable specialty practice area is preferred. Eligible for licensure by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
