ResponsibilitiesJoin a dynamic and collaborative team at Mayo Clinic as a Nurse Practitioner supporting both the Psychiatry practice and the Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) program within Primary Care. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across disciplines, providing mental health care to a diverse patient population. We are seeking a new team member to deliver comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health care, collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and behavioral health professionals to support integrated care models and contribute to the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
This role is ideal for a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about mental health. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team that values innovation, patient-centered care, and professional growth. Occasional night and weekend call coverage is required.
During the selection process you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question – Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps.
QualificationsNurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current FL RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP, ANP, ACNP or PMHNP.
Additional Qualifications:
- Some form of Mental Health experience is preferred
- Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required
