Overview
The Office Manager provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and Director of the Bronx Health Collective (BHC).
Responsibilities
- This position oversees office operations across all BHC program sites, manages communications, coordinates board and community advisory council activities, and ensures alignment with Montefiore’s institutional policies.
- The Office Manager serves as a professional liaison with Montefiore leadership, manages sensitive information with discretion, and provides oversight of technology and project coordination needs.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of administrative management experience, preferably in a healthcare, community health, or nonprofit setting.
- Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong leadership and staff supervision skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Montefiore systems (Infor, Workday).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with executive/senior leadership, staff, and external partners.
- Knowledge of customer relations and communication techniques with diverse populations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain discretion with sensitive information, and meet strict deadlines.
- Familiarity with workplace diversity and cultural competency.
