We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for our Outpatient Endocrinology team. In this impactful position, you’ll be delivering comprehensive, compassionate care that addresses both medical and psychosocial needs to patients with diabetes in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diabetes care. As part of a collaborative team of over 900 NPs and PAs at MSK, you’ll work alongside dedicated physicians and healthcare professionals, contributing to patient education, clinical support, and research initiatives that help set the standard in evidence-based cancer care. Role Overview:
- Collaborate with designated physicians and healthcare team members to provide medical care to an assigned caseload of inpatients as part of the Endocrine Service inpatient consultation team, with a focus on the management of steroid induced diabetes. You will then see these patients in their own independent outpatient clinic.
- Deliver the highest standard of care in the diagnosis and management of a respective patient population and participating in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum.
- Conduct new consultation visits and follow-up consultation visits in the inpatient setting and active collaboration with the services requesting consultation services.
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited PA program
- NCCPA certification
- Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience as a PA is preferred
- BLS/ACLS certification
Or
- Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
- Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
- 3+ years of related clinical experience
- Related National NP certification
- BLS/ACLS certification

- Pay Range: $155,500 - $197,400/annually
