ResponsibilitiesThe Division of Occupational Health Services at Mayo Clinic in Rochester is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work as part of our multidisciplinary team providing Occupational Healthcare to employees and staff at Mayo Clinic. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Occupational Health Services team. This role is ideal for a confident, autonomous provider with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. New graduates will not be considered for this position.
Responsibilities will include the ability to perform a comprehensive physical assessment; ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests; recognition and management of chronic and acute medical conditions; counseling for health promotion and disease prevention; and completing occupational assessment for on-the-job injuries and return to work evaluations. In addition, the advanced practice provider will collaborate with multiple stakeholders and leaders at Mayo Clinic to ensure employee occupational health and safety while overseeing the management of employees through 20 occupational health surveillance programs. As an academic organization, all providers, including NP/PA's, will be expected to participate in education and research opportunities within the division.

QualificationsMasters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification, or eligible to be certified, as a FNP or ANP.
Or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice.
BLS certification and DEA registration required.
