Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing a variety of clerical functions which include but are not limited to; Registration, Insurance Verification, Money Collection, Collection of Documentation, referral of patient to the Medicaid and Financial Aid units so as to ensure the efficient operation of the various departments within HSR.
- Responsible for billing accounts once insurance information has been secured, while maintaining all Customer Service and departmental Guidelines.
*Work days: Alternate; Weekends, Holidays, Monday & Fridays
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- BS Preferred.
- 1-3 years' Work experience.
- Experience in collection and/or insurance verification Preferred.
- Must be experienced in providing excellent customer service and problem escalation/resolution in high-volume atmosphere Required.
- Candidates must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent telephone and face to face communication.
- Must be able to work independently and get along with others.
- Must successfully pass pre-hire assessments; Math, grammar/vocabulary & customer service with a score of 80% or above.
- OHS Annual Assessment Required.
