Job Description:
Delivers clean linen to designated stocking areas. Collects and launders soiled linen. Stocks linen throughout the facility and on linen carts. May track linen usage in daily log.
Principle Responsibilities
- Delivers clean linen to stock areas.
- Ensures proper levels of linen are maintained in the stock areas.
- Collects soiled linen.
- Launders soiled linen using washer and dryer.
- Ensures carts are prepared and ready for delivery and reuse.
- Remaining linen is stored in linen room.
- Empties bins to accommodate soiled linen.
- May track linen usage in daily log.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
- 0 to 2 years of health care linen experience
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 6 months similar work experience
Physical Demands
- Medium Work:
- Lifting weight up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently
Pay Range
Pay Range: $19.38 to $25.39 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
