Works directly with Dentist and assists with patient care.
Responsibilities
- Performs duties and responsibilities that directly and indirectly involve patient care. Other clinical and patient care duties as assigned.
- Will be expected to provide support to other clinics if needed.
- Will assist Dentists in the performance of general Orthodontics procedures on patients.
- Takes and develops dental x-rays, follows the Montefiore’s infection control and documentation guidelines.
- Must be able to support at nearby Montefiore dental clinic if needed on rare occasions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One year of Dental Assistant experience Required.
- BLS Required.
- Formal Dental Assistant training or certification Preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish Preferred.
