Overview
Manages the daily activities for a designated administrative function. Prepares and monitors the budget, implements policies and procedures, and monitors program outcomes. Supervises, trains and evaluates professional and support staff.
Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the HR Business Partner/Director, this position is responsible for providing professional and managerial support and ensures that the highest degree of professionalism and service to the HR Business Partner/Director supporting the Faculty Practice Group.
- This role will provide high-performing, employee-oriented services focusing on the customer, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the engagement and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
- This position assists with coordinating and implementing services, policies and programs through HR service areas and assists leaders on an array of HR matters.
- Acts as a liaison with all HR Department (Benefits, Compensation, HCM, HRIC, Employee/Labor Relations, etc.).
- Prepares and analyzes various reports necessary for hospital/business initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organization Development or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in HR positions required; Healthcare background a plus.
- Experience with database management, record keeping, and MS Office.
- Union experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide solutions by integrating knowledge, systems, and policies.
- Effective oral and written communication; ability to have difficult conversations; ability to speak publicly with a large audience.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
