SUMMARY OF POSITION: Provide Respiratory support to all patients with abnormalities of cardiopulmonary function.
Responsibilities
- Administration and monitoring of all diagnostic and therapeutic modalities within the service's scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Supervises all Respiratory Technicians and Respiratory Therapy students.
Requirements
- Associate Degree of Applied Science in Respiratory Care from an Accredited Respiratory Program, Bachelor's preferred.
- Current NYS Respiratory Therapist License.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Current BLS by the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
- Pediatric/ Neonatal experience preferred ACLS/NRP/PALS preferred Requirement
- Associate RT Degree.
