The Heart Group of Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Cardiologist with fellowship training in Advanced Cardiac Imaging to provide high level and patient-centered Cardiology care. Preferably, the candidate should have done additional training over the three-year General Cardiology Fellowship in CT and MRI. The Heart Group is a highly productive, well-established, hospital-owned busy practice that has been serving the Lancaster community for over 35 years. We are comprised of 50+ cardiologists with subspecialties that include interventional cardiology, non-invasive/general cardiology, electrophysiology and board-certified congestive heart failure services. The group is recognized nationally for leading-edge treatments for heart failure, heart rhythm disorders and lipid management.
As a forward-thinking group, our team participates in over 20 clinical trials, encourages and supports research endeavors. The Heart Group has pioneered interventional techniques that were performed for the first time in Lancaster County and is known as one of the few practices in the nation to offer lipid apheresis treatments outside of a hospital setting. We have a mature, busy CT and MRI program and have participated in clinical trials using these modalities. Our providers are committed to providing excellent care with state-of-the-art technology and work collaboratively with primary care and other specialty providers in the Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Network to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to Cardiology care. Requirements • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic) • Completion of an accredited Cardiology residency • Completion of an accredited Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship • Possess or able to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical License • Board Certified or Board Eligible
