The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) utilizes a patient-centered coordinated care model, demonstrating competencies in leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision-making. The APN works collaboratively with the practice/hospital team to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs.
This nurse practitoner role is in an administrative setting and does not involve procedures or assisting in procedures. Duties include: Managing the database and registry with the database people, Reviewing quality metrics and fulfillment of accreditation standards, data report involvement, managing the care of interventional patients (pre and post) to ensure that guidelines are followed and standards of care are met (no direct patient care)
Primary location will be Ocean University Medical Center, Brick NJ.
Preference for an APP with practice experience in Cardiology, previous cardiac clinical expertise in cardiac surgery/ Cath lab.
