Exciting Opportunity at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center:Jointhe Ganesh Labas a Research Technician!
You will have a chance to contribute directly toidentifyingvulnerabilities inmetastaticcolorectal cancer.Through close collaborationwith clinicians, the lab’s findingsguidenew approachesto overcome therapy resistance and improve outcomes for patientsfacing metastatic cancer.
- Laboratory Support: Prepare andmaintainlab equipment, instruments, solutions, stains, assays, and other essential supplies.
- Techniques & Assays: Perform specialized techniques, such asorganoidgeneration and long-termculture,cell-based assays, PCRs, Western Blots, ELISA etc.
- Animal Handling: Conduct animal studies, including injections, tissue/fluids collection, and animal autopsies tofacilitatedownstreamanalyses.
- Data Management: Record and analyze research data, prepare reports, and provide insights to the research team.
- Collaboration:Assistpeers and researchers with ongoing projects, fostering a team-oriented, supportive environment.
- Bachelor's degree inbiology, chemistry or lifesciences..
- Experience with organoidgeneration, long-term culture, PCR, Westernblotand/or ELISA.
- Comfort working directly with animal models is required for this role.
- Attention to detail and strong record-keeping habits.
- Ability to follow protocols while troubleshooting when needed.
- Team-oriented approach to supporting postdocs and fellow researchers.
- Adaptability in a dynamic lab environment.

Pay Range: $26.21 - $39.24FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
