Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) – General Cardiology Consult Service
Jefferson Hospital, Center City Philadelphia
Jefferson Hospital is seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing General Cardiology Consult Service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced APC to help shape a newly expanded role within a high-performing inpatient cardiology team.
As a key member of our consult service, you will practice at the top of your license, working both independently and collaboratively alongside cardiologists, fellows, and multidisciplinary staff. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing initial inpatient cardiology consultations
Conducting timely and thorough follow-up evaluations
Managing continuity of care and completing consult sign-off documentation
Contributing to service operations, quality improvement efforts, and workflow optimization as the consult service continues to expand
We are seeking a clinician who is:
Experienced in cardiology, preferably in an inpatient or consultative setting
Comfortable practicing autonomously with strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Eager to take ownership of a developing role and contribute to service growth
Committed to high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care
This dedicated APC position is designed to enhance consult capacity, elevate clinical quality, and support the continued growth and excellence of our General Cardiology Consult Service.
