Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our HPB Surgery team as a Clinical Research Specialist! This position offers the opportunity to be part of meaningful, high-impact work where precision, compassion, and collaboration come together. Clinical research staff ensure that research is conducted ethically, efficiently, and with the patient at the center—supporting innovations that shape the future of medicine.
Role Overview:
- Coordinate and confirm research-related appointments (e.g., labs, imaging, procedures, treatment visits) to align with protocol-required time points.
- Communicate with clinic coordinators/MCs, CTNs, and other MSK staff to ensure visits and research procedures are scheduled appropriately.
- Facilitate informed consent and re-consent visits for therapeutic and non-therapeutic clinical trials, including electronic and in-person consent workflows.
- Assist with timely and accurate data entry, review, and reconciliation in clinical research systems (e.g., CTMS, Epic, and etc), as applicable.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in a patient-facing role.
- Prior experience in clinical research is a plus.

- Problem-solving to analyze situations, draw conclusions, and convey this information in a timely and proficient manner.
