The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time).

Position Overview
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinates clinical rotations of medical students, pa-students, SOCM trainees, and others as assigned.
- Ensures compliance of each student’s credentialing and onboarding requirements in accordance with institutional and accreditation policies and procedures.
- Facilitates orientation for students, including set up for computer access, ID badge requests, privilege sheets, and arrival information.
- Manages internal and external communication among clerkship coordinators, preceptors, students, and affiliated school contacts.
- Receives academic year schedules from multiple schools and integrates into master schedule.
- Maintains timely upkeep of add/drop changes for affiliate schools, master schedule, student database.
- Provides financial based rotations.
- Receives elective rotation requests and works with residency program or other department to schedule.
- Serves as on-site proctor for student exams.
- Facilitates the completion of student evaluations.
- Assists with annual clerkship orientation presentation; presents house orientation to arriving students.
- Participates in student review meetings and recruiting events as assigned.
- Reserves meeting rooms and creates catering orders for special meetings and at other times as requested.
- Reports to and completes other assignments as designated by Director, Graduate Medical Education.
- Performs other duties as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Associate's degree. Two years of experience in a scheduling environment in lieu of a degree.
- Experience: One year previous experience in medical or academic scheduling setting.
- Other Credentials:
- Knowledge and Skills: Possesses strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize assignments and demonstrate initiative toward problem solving.
- Special Training: Intermediate level computer skills, database management and PowerPoint; familiar with virtual platform environments (ZOOM).
- Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities: Professional disposition in fast-paced and ever changing environment; calm demeanor with all contacts. Ability to communicate with all levels of organizational structure. Observes confidentiality and safeguarding of sensitive information.
