Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Postdoctoral Researcher – Laboratory of Sarat Chandarlapat
The Chandarlapaty lab is comprised of a multidisciplinary team investigating the basis for therapeutic response and resistance in breast cancer
A postdoctoral research position is opening to study the mechanisms underlying the response of luminal breast cancers to endocrine and cell cycle targeted therapies
The project will involve development and testing of high-fidelity models of endocrine-responsive breast cancer and analyses of multi-omic datasets spanning both models and clinical samples
The successful candidate will be required to work in collaboration with other members of the laboratory as well as several clinical and translational teams with shared interests.
Position is supported by funding from the National Cancer Institute and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation
Key Requirements
- PhD in cancer biology, genetics, cell biology, or pharmacology.
- Track record of publication in areas of cancer biology, genetics, cell biology, or pharmacology.
- Demonstrated ability to design, execute and interpret experiments independently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Core Skills
- Strong expertise in conduct and analysis of genome-wide assays.
- Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and cell biology techniques.
- Interest in translational research and collaboration with clinical teams.
