Role Overview:
• Conduct experimental tests for Investigators using existing techniques.
• Prepare laboratory equipment, instruments, solutions, stains, assays, and other supplies as instructed for research experiments.
• You will be involved in animal handling requiring injection of animals, collection/harvesting of tissues, and fluids; animal autopsies to make chemical identification, and conducting analyses.
• Provide assistance with other ongoing research for peers and research personnel in the laboratory by completing tasks related to the projects within the deadline specified.
• Perform necessary analysis and calculations, record data, and write reports on research findings.
• Perform queries of pertinent data/information that are both accurately formatted and presented according to the preference of the lab head; recommend changes and/or additions to established data fields.
• Follow the guidelines for expenditures by acquiring prior approval for all
• Participate in the implementation of Quality Assurance and Improvement programs.
• Be involved in proficiency testing and preparation of reports by following outlined technical procedures.
• Adhere to documented procedures for management staff, clinical staff, and researchers by keeping up to date on new and improved procedures.
• Responsible for mentoring junior lab members
Key Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Biology, or Analytical Chemistry, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry
• Previous Experience or research in Metabolomics

Pay Range: $82,000.00-$131,200.00
