ResponsibilitiesThe Department of Psychiatry & Psychology at Mayo Clinic Health System-Southwest Wisconsin (MCHS-SWWI) in La Crosse, WI, is seeking an Adult Psychiatrist.
The Department of Psychiatry & Psychology in Southwest Wisconsin is a growing and robust interdisciplinary team comprised of 3 general psychiatrists, 1 addictions psychiatrist, 2 child & adolescent psychiatrists, 5 clinical psychologists, 2 neuropsychologists, 6 nurses, 25 masters-prepared therapists, and 4 case managers. Together, this group provides evidence-based diagnostic and treatment interventions to children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with mental health disorders. General psychiatry and sub-specialty services are provided through an outpatient behavioral health center and through the collaborative care model in primary care clinics. This department does not have inpatient psychiatric services or on-call services and utilizes an array of community partnerships to connect patients with services across the continuum of care.
In this role, the psychiatrist will have opportunities for program development and qualified applicants will also be the opportunity for a 20% appointment at Mayo Clinic Rochester for interests related to research, education, or clinical practice. In addition, a hybrid model of on-site and remote work will be considered. QualificationsCandidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Wisconsin and be board certified/board eligible in general Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry.
