Position Summary
The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Study Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position will contribute to the advancement of our research projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare and research settings, possessing the skills necessary to perform various administrative tasks. Position will participate in activities such as screening, obtaining consent, enrolling participants, sample collection, documentation, and reporting of data.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and cognitive assessments to study participants (will be trained and certified).
- Properly collect and store biological samples.
- Assist with participant data collection, scheduling, and follow-up appointments for ongoing studies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of research data and participant interactions.
- Prepare and organize study documentation, including consent forms, questionnaires, and reports.
- Communicate with participants and team members to coordinate study activities.
- Handle general office tasks, such as supply ordering and correspondence.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date
- Basic Life Support certification (Online Basic Life Support certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the Basic Life Support requirements).

Salary Range
$19.21 - $28.85 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
