Job Overview:
The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting office operations by handling a variety of administrative tasks. The position ensures efficient workflow, effective communication, and organized office systems. Responsibilities include managing daily office functions, coordinating schedules, preparing documents, assisting with projects, and providing support to management.
Requirements:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred:
- Medical terminology preferred
- Prior experience in a hospital or doctor’s office setting is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and ensure accuracy in documents and scheduling
Scheduling Requirements:
- Shift- 8:00am-4:30pm
- Monday-Friday
- Full Time-Day
Essential Functions:
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring positive interactions and professional representation
- Handle calls, emails, correspondence, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Draft, edit, and format reports, presentations, and other professional materials
- Maintain filing systems, order supplies, and manage day-to-day operations
- Occasionally support special projects, ensuring deadlines are met
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings/appointments, and arrange travel
- Administrative Assistants provide support to management by assisting with various tasks, such as data entry, assisting
