Overview
As an integral part of the team, the Discharge Lounge Coordinator is responsible for the total experience of our patients while they are in the Discharge Lounge.
Responsibilities
The Discharge Lounge Coordinator is dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care experience to our discharged patients by assisting in maintaining a safe, clean and functional environment, facilitating communication, making discharge phone calls, transporting patients and directing visitors.
Requirements
High School Graduate or equivalent with vocational/technical training preferred.
Effective English communication skills, both written and oral. Spanish speaking preferred
Graduate of State Certified Program or 1-year clinical experience as a nursing student/foreign graduate nurse.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Nursing Attendant experience or equivalent skill set required. Must be able to use Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft applications for data entry.
