The Director of Data and AI Program Office is responsible for establishing and managing an accountability framework to consistently deliver trusted, timely, and high-impact data and AI solutions. This role involves leading the Data and AI governance and strategic planning initiatives to enhance customer engagement and drive innovation. The Director leads a team of talented professionals and collaborates with various stakeholders to develop and implement effective data and AI practices. This includes setting up governance principles across cross-functional settings, ensuring alignment of data and AI efforts with business objectives, and fostering relationships with internal and external partners to capitalize on new opportunities that enhance business operations within the Enterprise Data Intelligence landscape. |
Primary Duties and Responsibilities• | Develops and implements strategic and operational plans to ensure the successful delivery of data, analytics, and AI solutions across the organization. Collaborates with leadership to identify, define, and prioritize service needs that can be addressed by the team. |
• | Establishes and maintains a robust data governance framework to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance. Manages staff in day-to-day activities to meet these objectives. |
• | Establishes and maintains a comprehensive AI governance framework for the responsible and scalable deployment of AI capabilities. Directs high-priority projects that support this framework, setting clear and reasonable expectations for task completion. |
• | Develops programs to enhance awareness and drive adoption of data and AI solutions. Manages the implementation of these programs, ensuring they align with user needs. |
• | Designs and implements data and AI literacy programs to empower customers in making data-driven decisions and leveraging AI solutions effectively. |
• | Implements quality assurance and risk management practices to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data and AI solutions. Evaluates process improvement activities and measures their impact on operational effectiveness. |
• | Builds and leads a high-performing team of analysts and business intelligence developers to deliver high-impact AI and data-driven solutions. |

Education:
Minimum required - bachelor's degree - Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, business, analytics, computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related field
Work Experience:
10 years minimum required of healthcare clinical/financial data management experience. Experience in data, analytics, AI, and data governance.
AND
Minimum of 10 years of management experience of both data analytical and administrative staff in a healthcare setting.
AND
Minimum of 7 years of experience with project management/agile development experience and program management, including strategic, financial and operational planning.
