Overview
The Licensed Practical Nurse is a clinically competent healthcare worker.
Responsibilities
Participates in the delivery and documentation of patient care activities including administration of medications and treatment under the direction of a registered professional nurse or licensed physician, dentist or other legally authorized health care provider. Performs other duties, as assigned, to assist infection prevention and control related activities within the scope of the job. Travel to various MMC sites as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Current licensure in New York State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Minimum of two years recent med/surg experience in an acute care setting.
- Submission of two references attesting to clinical competence and reliability.
