The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (RPCCC) seeks to recruit an academic Cytopathologist at the Assistant, or Associate Professor rank with fellowship training in cytopathology to support expansion of the Institute’s clinical and research programs in this area. The successful candidate will be expected to sign out cytopathology cases, perform rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) at procedures performed by interventional radiologists and endoscopists, and support both the multidisciplinary tumor boards and translational research activities in this area. Development of an independent research program is encouraged and will be supported. There is ample opportunity to participate in a wide variety of interesting oncologic cases, both in-house and in our consultation practice within the service subspecialties of our Anatomic Pathology division.
The Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, founded in 1898, is the first and oldest National Cancer Institute-funded Comprehensive Cancer Institute.
